Favourite Sports
I like playing so much sport, i enjoy playing football, tennis, cricket, basketball, golf and many others.
On this page i am going to talk about different sports i play and who are my sporting heroes.

David Beckham - My Football Hero

David Beckham is my favourite footballer, he is also my football hero.

David used to play for Manchester United, but in August 2003 he made a transfer to Real Madrid for £23million.

David is Englands current captain and is one of the best midfielders ever to play for England.

He has got ambitions for this summer, he is aiming to help England to win the European Championship, this would be Englands first football trophy since the world cup victory in 1966.

David had an unfortunate injury in 2002 which stopped him from competing to his best ability in the world cup, i reckon if he had been at his best we would have won the competition.

Cricket
Recently i have got back into playing indoor cricket with some of my mates at college, we where doing really well, nearly in the quarter-finals of a competition, but we lost, which was a shame because i was just beginning to get back into it as i hadn't played for years, oh well maybe we will be able to play in another competition next year.

Greyhound Racing

Not many people class this as a sport, but i do and i really enjoy going and watching the Greyhounds racing.

I have been going for years, but in 2001 my parents decided to buy a greyhound and she has done really well for us, now we have a puppy coming along and he will start racing in about a months time.

My two dogs names are Sally and Sid, if i can find a picture of them i will put it onto the website. The names are the pet names, but there racing names are Knowsie Rosie and Knowsie Geezer.

Johnny Wilkinson - Englands Sporting hero of 2003

What a man, until last years rugby world cup not many people had heard of Johnny Wilkinson, but after his wonderous Drop-Goal in the final of the Rugby world cup, he has become a national hero and last year he won BBC Sports Personally of the year.
