Social Life is great, its allows us to get together outside of college and just have fun, chat and enjoy life more, because when we are at college we dont really talk about the sort of things we do whilst out on saturdays, it is so much fun. Most saturdays me and alot of my mates go into town and go bowling then we usually go somewhere and play pool and darts. A couple of us have a drink, but because others either cant get served or they dont want to drink because they dont believe in drinking, they dont bother. On Mondays a number of my friends and I go to a youth group, which is really fun, we get to worship God and learn topics out of the bible, its really interesting, it also has helped me making more friends and learn more about God and Christianity.
Bowling
Every saturdays me, David, Sam, Seb, Matt and Ryan usually go bowling and have a couple of games, i had played a few times before i moved to Norfolk in september, but ever since i have been nearly every saturday and on two other occasions me and David have been al day bowling from 10-5 for £10, we play about 20 games, its fun at the time, but our arms feel broken the next day.
My highest score was something like 150 and my lowest was something poor like 48, but i am getting better and most games i am geting over 90, which isnt bad, but still not good enough for a league.
As from this saturday i am going to keep updating this part because i am going to put every score me and my mates get when we bowl on saturday's.

Darts
On saturdays we used to play darts until an ex-friend did something stupid with the darts and stopped us from playing in the bar, we are trying to find somewhere else to go and play but we havent found any where yet. I got a dart board for Christmas, but i havent got it set up in the room i want it in yet because i havent got round to decorating it. Im quite good, but not as good as my dad was, he used to play in a league back in London, but he gave up about 7 years ago, im gonna try and get into a league in my local pub, but im not sure if im good enough, yet!!!

Pool and Snooker
Another thing that we do on saturdays, me and my mates, we always have a great day. I am quite good at pool, as long as i dont have a drink because if i drink i hit the white ball off the table and into someones privates, sorry Sam, hehe. |
