The Darkness, probably the best rock band in the world today, well actually they are the best rock band in the worl today. After a great night at the BRITS this year, picking up three awards, including best Rock Act and Best Album, they are now going to take America by storm. The groups first song was actually 'Growing on me', but many people think it was 'I Believe In A Thing Called Love' but that was actually there third single which they released. I hadnt heard of them until 'I Believe in a thing Called Love was released, but as soon as they released it and there album was released i just had to go out and buy both and there album is amazing, no wonder they won best Album at the BRITS.

Rock music had been on a slump in England for some time, but as soon as bands like Nickleback, The Darkness, White Strips, Oasis and Blur started to write new songs, rock music has started to take over the charts. There are many bands in America, like Limp Bizkit, Creed, P.O.D and Him, but they didnt seem to do well over here until a few years ago and then all the great bands from England started to kick-start there carers again.

My Favourite rock bands have to be The Darkness, Queen, P.O.D and Oasis.
